The Trouble with Magic Giveaway

logo
Hello readers…
Thanks to Sourcebook Publishing, I have one (1) copy of The Trouble with Magic by Patricia Rice to giveaway to one (1) lucky winner.
About the book:
Felicity Malcolm Childe’s gift for experiencing visions through touch has always been more curse than blessing. She sees horrifying images each time she brushes her hand against another person, and she is forced to cover herself from toe to finger to deflect the vicious onslaught. Only the maddeningly handsome Ewen Ives harbors no guilty secrets to cause her pain. He is betrothed to another, and he is at odds with the Malcolm family- but he is Felicity’s only hope. Will they find the spell to remove her gift? Or will Ewen forget their mission once he sees Felicity without her unsightly head to toe garments?
I adore Ms. Rice’s Magic Series and have this one waiting on my Kindle. This delightful series blends an historical setting with a touch of magic and always lots of romance. I am not a big “historical romance” reader, but I enjoy how Ms. Rice takes the genre and adds the paranormal-ish twist! What about you… do you have a preferred genre to read? Do you like when an author blends two genres together?

I love blended genres. You get a little bit of everthing in the story that way! My favorite genre is paranormal romance. I like things that go bump in the night, and wear fur, fangs, or wings : )
Thanks for the super awesome giveaway!!

thanks for a great giveaway! I’ll pretty much read anything. I don’t have a fav genre per se, but I do read a lot of PNR. I think mainly b/c the market’s so saturated. But I do enjoy blended genres, especially historicals with a paranormal/magical element.

I do like blended genres because it means a more interesting read and enjoying elements from different genres. Historical and paranormal together is one of my favorite blends.

I think everything I read lately is a blended genre of some ilk or another! Actually, can’t recall the last “pure” fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, or thriller I’ve read! Paranormal Romance is high on the ‘reading-a-rather-lot-of’ list, I’d say.
