Interview with a Vampire…

Happy Holidays everyone! So thrilled to be here for Mistletoe Madness, glad you stopped by. I’m Dana Lorraine, a writer of sexy words and hunky men. I got the best present just a few weeks ago when my short novel, Dying to Love Her, was published by Ellora’s Cave. Don’t think anything I get for Christmas will top that…unless it’s a trip to Paris—I might get pretty excited about that.

My heroine, Melanie, is having a good year too. She didn’t get just one man to keep her warm on cold winter nights—she got two. Below is a blurb to tell you a little more about my paranormal erotic ménage.

Want to meet the two yummy personal trainers that help Melanie work up a sweat? You’re in luck. They’re stopping by any minute. And here they are…

Dana: Hey guys. What’s up? I heard you needed to speak to me about something involving Christmas and Melanie.

Rook: And we wanted to see you again. *winks* Now that you’re writing about those two other vampire personal trainers you don’t have much time for us anymore.

Dana: *sigh* I know and I miss you both. You two were my first so you’ll always have a special place in my heart.

Alec: Don’t worry. Melanie keeps us plenty busy. *crosses arms and yawns* Sorry, we didn’t get much sleep last night.

Rook: I’m not sorry. *smirks*

Alec: You’re right…I get in bed with Melanie and the last thing I want to do is sleep.

Dana: *blushes*

Rook: Isn’t that cute how Dana still blushes even after all those sexy scenes she wrote for us?

Dana: Stop teasing me Rook and tell me what you wanted to talk about.

Rook: Okay, okay. Seeing as this is our first Christmas with Melanie we want to make it extra special for her. We have some ideas and wanted to run them by you.

Dana: *smiles* I’m sure all your ideas are great. Remember when Melanie agreed to be your lifemate? All I can say is—you two know how to make a woman feel special.

Alec: *shares a look with Rook* And we’ll spend the rest of our lives making sure she feels that way each and every day.

Rook: …and night. Don’t forget about the nights. That’s my favorite time to make Melanie feel special.

Dana: *shakes head fighting back another blush* Can we get back on topic? Please.

Rook: *smirks* It’s your fault for writing us this way. We can’t help ourselves.

Dana: Well try.

Alec: *clears throat* Fine. Do you know if Melanie can ice skate?

Dana: Umm, I don’t think so.

Rook: Good, *nudges Alec*, that makes taking her to Rockefeller Center, as part of our night of romance, even better.

Dana: Now why would that be better? She’ll be falling down the whole time.

Alec: Exactly— giving us even more reasons to keep our hands all over her.

Rook: That ice won’t touch her ass,*chuckles*, but my hands sure will.

Alec: And what about horses. Is there any chance she’s allergic to them?

Dana: Geesh, I don’t know, *shrugs shoulders*, I didn’t get that deep into a character study when I wrote her. Probably not though.

Alec: Okay, then it looks like we’re going to treat her to a carriage ride through Central Park too.

Dana: That sounds romantic but don’t you think she’ll get too cold, especially after spending all that time outside ice skating.

Rook: I’ll bring hot chocolate and a cozy blanket.

Alec: And if that doesn’t keep her warm Rook and I will have plenty of opportunities under the blanket to heat her up?

Dana: *rolls eyes* Excuse me—but do you have any plans for Melanie that don’t involve groping her in public?

Rook: Sure, *eyes twinkle devilishly*, we have plans to grope her in private too.

About the Book:

When Melanie Woodson joins Empriva Fitness she expects to lose weight, not gain two sexy vampire personal trainers. With an exercise regimen that includes passionate horizontal workouts, fat-burning orgasms and lusty words of encouragement, she’s in serious danger of forgetting their relationship is based on a business agreement and not mutual attraction.

Alec Kosta and Rook Abernathy, best friends and owners of Empriva, have waited over a century for the right lifemate to come along. Now that they’ve found Melanie, with her endless curves and quick wit, they’re ready to give up countless lifetimes to spend just one with her.

But time isn’t on their side—they’ve tasted her blood and now mere days are all they have to convince her their love is real or risk losing their chance to be with her forever.
