This week has been a mixed bag for me. Life has been busy, both at home and work. My big project is coming up on deadlines, and I’ve been working late and on the weekends trying to get it all done. Good news is that after today, things won’t be nearly as crazy at work. At home, we have the usual craziness of spring sports and end-of-school. However, the Boy has a knee injury and BG has on-going medical issues that have me running all over to appointments. In the end, I missed meeting my step count on three days and didn’t get in my 30 minutes in on two days. BOO!
The wins for this week include: I did a walk/jog on Thursday – first time “running” since last fall for me. And, even though I was working late, I did take advantage of the nice weather one day and went for a short (1 mile) walk along this trail (photo, above), which is right next to my office. The trail was created on the site of a former railroad track and goes on for miles and miles. I may need to take time to hit this path more often!
Friday: 45 minutes walking, 10,388 steps
Saturday: none, 4,659 steps
Sunday: 39 minutes walking, 9,368 steps
Monday: 41 minutes walking, 11,794 steps
Tuesday: 42 minutes walking, 10,182 steps
Wednesday: 16 minutes walking, 7,618 steps
Thursday: 55 minutes BodyFlow + 65 minutes walking/jogging, 12,900 steps
