So it’s still crazy here. After a WONDERFUL long (holiday) weekend, I started back to work (I have July and August off). I am sad that summer is “over,” and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed. Although I am doing a decent job of making time to get in a walk, I’m not really pushing myself. And I’ve noticed that although I’ve not gained any weight, my clothes are getting a little snug in the waist. I am giving myself until the end of September to work out the “getting back to school/work” issues in my schedule. Once October hits, I need to seriously check in and get moving and eating better. I also feel like our group on a whole has been very busy and less cohesive. What can we do to get on track as a group??
Friday: no exercise, 5,494 steps/day
Saturday: 40 minutes walking, 10,991 steps/day
Sunday: no exercise, 5,616 steps/day
Monday: 36 minutes walking, 12,123 steps/day
Tuesday: 40 minutes walking, 10,197 steps/day
Wednesday: 43 minutes walking, 10,148 steps/day
Thursday: 55 minutes Body Flow + 37 minutes walking, 11,142 steps/day
* I track two different goals. The first goal is a timed duration of exercise – moving with the intent to raise my heart rate and get in some cardiovascular work. This is what I’m mean when I say “45 minutes walking.” The second goal is total daily steps. This is from my Fitbit, which measures all steps from 12:00AM – 11:59PM, exercise included.
I promise that I’m going to get to a post on “excuses,” but honestly… I haven’t had time. Is giving an excuse of being “too busy” to write my post about making excuses to exercise even allowed?!
