This week really flew by. Last weekend was busy with Halloween and my brother-in-law’s birthday. I ate a LOT of candy, too. In fact on Monday, over 50% of my day’s calories could be classified as “fun size” or “mini.” EEP! But at least I got in several steps over the week.
On Thursday I flew down to Florida to visit Mom and Dad. I’ll be here until Monday. It’s the first time I’ve gone to visit them without the kiddos. I’m checking in on my dad after his recent bout of hospital stays and heart troubles. My mom loves to walk – so I should have no troubles getting in a whole bunch of steps. I’ll let you know next week!
Friday: trick-or-treat walking for 26 minutes, 11,690 steps/day
Saturday: one walk totaling 35 minutes, 14,113 steps/day
Sunday: no exercise, 5,357 steps/day
Monday: one walk totaling 70 minutes, 14,170 steps/day
Tuesday: two walks totaling 56 minutes, 11,387 steps/day
Wednesday: three walks totaling 65 minutes, 12,992 steps/day
Thursday: airport walking for 24 minutes, 10,000 steps/day
* I track two different goals. The first goal is a timed duration of exercise – moving with the intent to raise my heart rate and get in some cardiovascular work. This is what I’m mean when I say “45 minutes walking.” The second goal is total daily steps. This is from my Fitbit, which measures all steps from 12:00AM – 11:59PM, exercise included.
