Author Interview – Lisa Sanchez

Author Interview – Lisa Sanchez Today I have the honor of bringing to you author Lisa Sanchez. Lisa’s lifelong love of writing, coupled with her ability to weave together and intricate and compelling story has led to the release of her first published novel, Eve Of Samhain.  In her role as a busy stay-at-home and self-proclaimed “cheer mom,” Lisa wears a number of different hats. From taxi driver to chef, nurse to seamstress, laundry woman to enforcer, and, of course, writer, Lisa manages to keep everything together while caring for her husband and three children. The few spare moments left in her day are usually spent reading or writing, and if she’s really lucky,...

Sunday Snippets #17

Sunday Snippets #17 From Eve of Samhain by Lisa Sanchez. After undressing, I stepped into the lavish enclosure and moaned at the wonderful sensation of the scalding hot water pouring over my body. I took my time washing away the remnants of the morning’s workout and enjoyed the feeling of three showerheads rinsing me simultaneously. A girl could get used to this! As I rinsed the last remnants of shampoo from my hair, a familiar tingling sensation peppered my skin, stealing my breath away with its intensity. And my kitty…yeah, it went up in flames. Quinn. Normally, my first instinct would have been to freak out and cover up if I knew...

Remembering Miss Molly

Remembering Miss Molly It was one year ago that we said good-bye to the beautiful Miss Molly. Molly died from complications associated with the lymphoma that ravaged her body. She was only 5 years old. Her death was a harsh blow and sad moment in my life, in so many lives. Molly was first diagnosed with cancer in February 2009. Our little community was in shock, but pulled together to support the family and each other. We all thought she would survive – I mean, how could God let a 5-year old die? And for a short while she did get better. But then she got worse. Her family now raises money...

Sunday Snippets #16

Sunday Snippets #16 From Dark Succession by Teresa D’Amario. Meeting his mate hadn’t exactly been on today’s agenda. He wasn’t sure how to proceed. Just like their wolf cousins, shewolves chose their mates, despite the rare paring of True Mates. And like the wolves, they usually chose the strongest in a pack. But it wasn’t always the case. Sometimes, they chose entirely by their heart. That’s what scared him. Ryland didn’t know how to court a female. They’d always come running to him.
