Cover Reveal: No Wedding Series by Kat & Stone Bastion

Cover Reveal: No Wedding Series by Kat & Stone Bastion I am so excited by this cover reveal! We’ll be revealing FOUR covers today for Kat and Stone Bastion’s new series, No Wedding Series. We’re also releasing an excerpt!! So here it is!!! Title: No Wedding Series Author: Kat Bastion with Stone Bastion Genre: Contemporary Romance Cover designer: Sarah Hansen at Okay Creations Photographer: Mandy Hollis Photography Models: Steven Preston and Brittany Brescia   About No Weddings (Release Date Sep 8): Award-winning author Kat Bastion teams with her husband, Stone Bastion, in this first book in the No Weddings Series about Cade Michaelson, a successful man with his sights set on a new venture in business, and Hannah Martin, the woman who makes it personal. I think I have my act together as a successful bar owner, my master’s degree within reach, and a list of no-strings-attached women warming my bed. Turns out, I don’t. Hannah believes she has safeguarded her wounded heart by shunning men and focusing on her new baking business. The thing is, she hasn’t. When my three sisters and I start a new event-planning business with Hannah as our baker, I have no idea how my life is about to change. As Hannah and I work closely together, the attraction between us becomes irresistible. And complicated. I’ve promised my sisters I wouldn’t mix business with pleasure. But I’ve never been one to follow the rules. Add on Goodreads   About One Funeral (Release Date Sep 29): The stakes climb higher in this second book in the No Weddings Series for Hannah Martin, a woman restrained by her past, and Cade Michaelson, the man who could help set her free. I’m drawn to Cade as he charms his way into more of my life and offers me something I truly haven’t ever had: a friend. Yet his humor, patience, and drop-dead sexiness take my breath away, and I know my heart is at risk. I want to move forward but am terrified I can’t. Cade seems to have it together from his own devastating heartache. His subtle actions, however, suggest a different story. And even though he says he wants more, I wonder if he’s able to trust in our developing relationship. As we navigate through our tangled feelings, we vow to take it slow. Yet no matter how careful we try to be, things between us intensify—and there’s nothing we can do, or want to do, to stop it. But the biggest question remains: Is...

Cover Love – Black City by Christina Henry

Cover Love – Black City by Christina Henry Earlier today, Christina Henry revealed the cover for her upcoming release, Black City. This will be the fifth book in one of my favorite urban fantasy series, Black Wings. From GoodReads: WARNING: SPOILERS FROM THE PREVIOUS BOOK, BLACK LAMENT… Former Agent of death Madeline Black may have been stripped of her wings—but she hasn’t lost her purpose…  When Maddy finally killed her father, Azazel, she thought his depraved experiment died with him. But now Chicago has been infested with vampires immune to the effects of the sun, and the bloodbath is worse than she could have ever imagined. While the Agency refuses to interfere with other supernatural courts, Maddy is determined to do everything within her power to save her city—wings or no wings. But when the leader of the vampires requests that she turn herself in or risk more deaths, Maddy becomes a target for the very people she’s trying to save. Left with no other choice, she turns to Lucifer, the one creature who has the power to help her. But her grandfather’s aid has always come at a price… I have to say what I LOVE about the first four book covers is the way that Madeline’s surroundings always created her wings. It is a statement that she’s got them, even if they are invisible to humans. What stands out for me with this cover is the absence of Madeline’s wings. It’s a powerful statement. In addition, the colors shift from dark to bright yellow – a sign of a new beginning. So much has happened, and I cannot wait to find out what is up next for Maddy! Black City is scheduled for release February 26, 2013 from...

Directly from Meljean’s site: May 7, 2013 In this thrilling conclusion to the Guardian series, New York Times bestselling author Meljean Brook delivers another stunning page-turner, in which the fate of humanity depends upon a tortured warrior winning the trust—and heart—of the woman he wounded… After a terrifying encounter in Hell destroys her trust in Michael, the Guardian’s powerful leader, former detective Andromeda Taylor is ready to call it quits as one of the angelic warriors and resume her human life again. But when demonic forces threaten her closest friends and she uncovers a terrifying plot devised by Lucifer, Taylor is thrown straight into Michael’s path again… To defeat Lucifer, Michael needs every Guardian by his side—and he needs Taylor more than any other. The detective is the key to keeping his own demonic side at bay, and Michael will do anything to protect her and keep her close. And when Taylor manifests a deadly power, her Gift might tip the scales in the endless war between Heaven and Hell…or it might destroy them both with a single touch. I don’t think I’ll make it until May… How about...

Cover Love LOOK WHAT JUST CAME IN… Devyn Quinn has released the cover for her upcoming release Darkness Descending, a novel of the Vampire Armageddon.   Here is a little bit about the story (taken from Devyn’s website): The first seal has been broken, signaling the end of days. Fallen angels in the form of vampires are infecting humans one by one, creating an army fit for Armageddon. Of the few who survive the infection, one stands alone above all others… For one year, Jesse Burke has been suppressing the beast within, driven by vengeance to destroy the vampiric fallen angels terrorizing New Orleans. But a war of biblical proportions is too much for one girl to handle, and she must turn to slayer Maddox deValois for training, though it threatens her fiercely-guarded independence. But the sinister demon Queen Amonate is doing everything in her power to lure Jesse to her side to fulfill her destiny as the mother of the devil’s child. Cover Love

Cover Love LOOK WHAT JUST CAME IN… Meljean Brook has released the cover for her 7th GUARDIAN SERIES book (and the 11th story in the series)… I give you Demon Marked.   Here is a little bit about the story (taken from Meljean’s website): Recently escaped from a mental hospital where she spent the past two years, Ash is searching for answers, trying to discover who she is…and what she’s become. Tattoos mark her skin – which is sometimes crimson. Her eyes glow when she’s angry. And icy fear is a constant companion, along with a desperation she doesn’t understand, and a torturous pain that she can barely remember. Fueled by vague memories and newspaper reports, she searches for Nicholas St. Croix – a man who, five years ago, was suspected to have murdered a human woman…who looks exactly like Ash. Nicholas St. Croix doesn’t know if he can trust the demon wearing the face of the woman he once loved – but if he wants to find out, he’ll have to keep her alive. Because the past is catching up to Nicholas, in the form of a demon commanded by Lucifer himself to sacrifice Ash and open a gateway to Hell. Protecting her means that Nicholas will find himself irrevocably changed, body and soul – and unaware that if he saves Ash’s life, Nicholas might be eternally damning the only woman he’s loved… So awesome!! I love the colors and the tattoos rock! This is one of my absolutely favorite series and I cannot wait for the release of Demon Marked in August 2011 (*sobs* that’s such a long wait!). For more about the Guardian Series, please visit Meljean’s website...
