Project Playroom: A Success in Redesign

Project Playroom: A Success in Redesign I do not watch HGTV. I do not possess hidden design talents. BUT… my mom does! Sunday Snippets #21 From Angles’ Blood by Nalini Singh Raphael dropped her lightly on the bed. “Nice.” She sighed at the decadent feel of the sheets against her skin, her eyes locked with those of an archangel. His gaze was so hotly male, so proprietal that she wondered, for a fleeting second, if she’d made a mistake. What if he wanted to keep her? “Did you ever have a slave?” she asked. His lips curved slightly, but it was an amusement tempered with sensual demand. “Many.” He gripped her ankles, spread her legs. “All very eager to serve–in every possible manner.” She tried to kick out but he hauled her closer, face...

Author Interview – Liz Fichera

Author Interview – Liz Fichera Today I have the honor of bringing to you author Liz Fichera. Liz is living in the Southwest by way of Chicago.  She likes to write stories about ordinary people who do extraordinary things, oftentimes against the backdrop of Native American legends. Many of her novels and short stories are set in the American Southwest.  Her path from hobby writer to published writer was neither easy nor quick.  From the time of her first story till publication of her first novel, she has worked as a woefully bad receptionist, teacher, technical writer, project manager, and IT Director for a Fortune 500 firm.  Please help me welcome Liz to That’s What I’m Talking About....

Sunday Snippets #20

Sunday Snippets #20 From Demon Night by Meljean Brook Two feet of bench seat was apparently nothing when a man had a reach as long as Ethan’s. He groaned, and it sounded like a denial, but then his big palm curved up from her stomach, and the light brush of his fingers over her breast was followed...

I am busier now that when I was working and kids were in school.  But it’s all good. I get some time to read and write reviews here and there. I had the pleasure (and frustration) of redesigning my blog all by myself!  I do worry that my poor bloggy will start to fall apart since I’m not writing daily posts, but I know it will bounce back in time. This past week has been a very hectic one. Boy has camp and karate. Both...
