Jade Lee-Sourcebooks

This hot new series is set in a daring, high-energy Regency world where deep longings, secret scandals, and the competition for social stature are all set against the glittering weddings of the season. Grant Benton, Earl of Crowle, finally has the funds he always pretended to have, and what he wants now is a woman. That woman is Lady Irene Knopp, who spends her days helping debutantes plan their weddings. A recent widow, Irene longs for love again, but she’s afraid to risk her heart, especially to the notorious Earl.

My wedding venue and reception site were about thirty minutes apart by car. That’s not unusual in the San Francisco Bay Area. I left my veil at the wedding venue, but didn’t realize it until we were all set up at the reception hall for formal portraits with the families. My father hopped in his fancy little Italian sports car and sped back for the veil. He had it and was BACK in thirty minutes. I don’t want to know how many laws he broke for his little girl. He still loves me that much.

  2. My wedding dress was beautiful however I was pregnant and apparently grew in circumference between last fitting and wedding. I couldn’t get it to zip up so I had to wear something from my closet. I was so angry and upset, I practically cried the whole wedding. Then at reception I ate a whole chicken and felt better. lol

  3. That sounds like so much fun! I have my dress picked out and pictures of it, but I haven’t gotten married yet…so I will have to pass. I can’t let Tony see the dress NO MATTER WHAT! LOL.

I had a fairy tale wedding dress. That’s what it reminded me of. When I found it it was a little small. Was so disappointed, BUT my then fiancee looked at it and said it had been taken in and we can let it out. I was a very happy bride let me tell you.

I had searched 5 months and when I saw that dress it was “THE ONE”. Complete with the white slippers. Our “theme” was Dreams Do Come True. Our wedding cake was in the shape of a castle.
