Hey there friends! I’m writing today to let you know about an awesome upcoming event that I am co-hosting with Jennifer at The Book Nympho.
Mistletoe Madness is a month long event (December 2 – December 23) where authors with winter releases (November 2013 – January 2014) will take over The Book Nympho and That’s What I’m Talking About with guest posts written from one of his/her character’s POV with a holiday theme (Christmas, Hanukkah, Festivus, New Years, etc.).
To the Authors:
Jennifer and I are putting out a call to any and all authors with scheduled winter releases and inviting you to participate in this fun event. We want to help spread the word about your awesome winter release. Some guest post ideas are:
Holiday Shopping List
Letters to Santa
Holiday To-Do Lists
Favorite Holiday Recipes
12 Days of Christmas
8 Nights of Hanukkah
Favorite Holiday Movies/Songs/Books
How to dance around the Festivus Pole (Seinfeld Fans get the reference)
New Year’s Resolutions
Countdown to New Year’s
There is no word limit to the posts. Basically, we are looking for posts that have some kind of holiday theme, snark (i.e. Festivus Pole Dancing) is welcomed. I know the holiday season is busy for everyone, especially for you authors since you will be promoting your winter releases. If you would like to take part in Mistletoe Madness, but you just do not have the time to write a post, we would gladly post an excerpt from your new release instead.
Jennifer and I are hoping you can participate in this awesome winter promo event!
If you are interested in this event, please email me at twimom227 (at) gmail (dot) com no later than October 18, 2013. I will confirm your participation and type of post by October 25.
The deadline for the post to be turned in is November 8, 2013.
For the Readers:
Doesn’t this sound like a great party? Jennifer and I already have some great authors and posts lined up. But we’d love more. So, if you have a favorite author with an upcoming winter release, let me know! You can email me at twimom227 (at) gmail (dot) com with suggestions for authors to contact. Or you can refer the author to this blog post and suggest that you’d like them to participate!
Jennifer and I are super excited about this event and hope you will all be back in December to share in the fun!
