My Week:

I am happy to report that our annual neighborhood lobster bake was a huge success! The weather was ideal and everyone had a great time. I ate WAY TOO MUCH FOOD all weekend, so it was no surprise that I gained almost three pounds when I weighed in on Monday. However, I’ve been kicking my own butt all week long, even starting a Workweek Hustle Fitbit Challenge with some of you all to motivate me to move more. And it seems to be working. Thank you!
My Movement:
Friday: 36 minutes walking, 10,832 steps
Saturday: 60 minutes walking, 12,507 steps
Sunday: none, 12,482 steps (Lobster Bake hostess)
Monday: 77 minutes walking, 18,086 steps
Tuesday: 75 minutes walking, 13,942 steps
Wednesday: 43 minutes walking, 10,780 steps
Thursday: 50 minutes BodyFlow, 62 minutes walking, 11,350 steps
Questions for YOU!
How was your week? Did you hit any milestones? Try a new food or workout? Celebrate your week with us!
Don’t forget to stop back on Monday June 1 to commit to #FitReaders for the month of June. I’ll be talking prizes!
My week starts on Monday so it doesn’t really jive with your schedule but I counted in my last 7 days for my figures. Here’s my link on my personal blog:

I didn’t keep up the pace I did the first week, though ironically I am taking the dog for a walk after dinner instead of letting her out in the yard. She is old and has arthritis like me 🙂 but we do okay. The change is due to having to get up 3 hours earlier several days a week, and having to adjust. Hope everyone had a great week! At least I am curbing my snacking, if that counts 🙂
I hear you – my “fitness week” also starts on a Monday, but since the “check-ins” have always been on Fridays, I do the same – just go with the numbers for the previous 7 days.
Sounds like you are adjusting, which is part of the process! Great job on the snacking. Can you get in a few steps early in the morning since you are getting up earlier? Just keep up with tracking and trying! We’re here to support you!!
PS. I can’t access your blog b/c it’s invite only. If you want to add me, I’ll swing by and check it out. 🙂
I start my weeks on Sunday…
May 24 – 30
Sunday: Off Day
Monday: Off Day
Tuesday: —
Wednesday: burned 331 calories doing 35 minutes of Elliptical Trainer
Thursday: burned 530 calories doing 60 minutes of Elliptical Trainer
Friday: burned 530 calories doing 60 minutes of Elliptical Trainer
Saturday: **PLAN Elliptical and/or pilates**
Excellent week!
Question… what is difference between “off day” and “–“??
“off day” is the day(s) I planned to take off from the gym. — is the lazy day(s).
You still did an amazing amount of steps and walking this week with your hostess duties still going on.
I did a little more this week than last, but still more improvement needs to come my way.

Thanks. That Fitbit challenge really made a difference. I made sure to get at least 10K steps each day since Monday.
Great week! 🙂
I’m still sticking with the Daily Burn and the walks. It’s getting easier with each day’s program.

Nice!! Great job!
Yay for a successful lobster bake. Sounds like a fun event! I had a pretty good week but have noticed the past several weeks I have a couple of days with far fewer steps than the other days. I think I’m ok with that for now 🙂 My post: https://bookfanmary.wordpress.com/2015/05/30/fitreaders-weekly-check-in-14/
Have a great week!
Sounds good Mary… as long as you are getting in some steps and on those lower days, maybe add a couple trips up and down the stairs.
Good work, I am feeling meh myself :/
That is a lot of lobsters 0_0

And those lobsters were soooo yummy!!
I was in NYC for the week for BEA – so lots of walking around. Plus, NYC is just so conducive to walking and getting in lots of steps! One of my favorite places to hang out and just walk around!!!
Glad to hear your lobster bake was a success!

That’s great!! I’ve never been to BEA, but it sounds like a fun event. Great job!
Wow you have been working it! Lobster – hmm think that’s a bit like crayfish. I find that very rich. I had a good week walking wise, and made my modest goals!!
My Sunday Post and Fitreaders post>
It’s an annual event, and lots of fun. Of course, I live right on the coast where the lobster is plentiful, so I can get it anytime!
Great job on your goals!!
you really killed it with the steps … great job! I did not do a great job last week but I’m kicking myself to do better this week. I think I need to join a workweek hustle for some motivation, although I have a feeling a big stick might be needed lol
I’ll do a Workweek Hustle again… just let me know if you start one! Remember, the key is consistency, just keep at it!

My fitbit quit syncing for a few days and my steps have been off due to the stinking rain/flooding. Friday and Saturday night I was very bad on drinking and I have committed myself to doing Whole30 again for this month. I did some serious gym work and can see the changes and have received compliments on my arms especially.
Great job!! I think at this point, I’d freak a little if my fitbit didn’t work. #addictive
don’t think I wasn’t. I tried to sync it with a few devices and no luck. finally it decided it liked me this morning. I need to get “stepping” 😀
Only 7km last week, a bit disappointing 🙁
Still sending cheers your way for getting out there and stopping to check in! Each day you get moving is a good day!!
The lobster bake sounds fun and yummy! I would have eaten a lot too! You had a great week! I’ve had a good week. I still go to the gym with my coworkers and if I can’t join them because of a meeting I will exercise at home.
Thanks for checking in. Sounds like you have the right attitude to keep moving forward!
Here’s my check-in for this week: http://thereadingwench.com/2015/06/02/fitreaders-check-in-22/
I added “Active Minutes” to my overall fitness goals.
Thanks for the update!
