Jen’s Year in Review:
I also read and listened to some wonderful books during 2015! While it was hard to narrow down the entire list, my top five favorite books I read and/or listened to during the past year are:
- Yours to Keep by Shannon Stacey
- Behind the Mask by Carolyn Crane
- Magic Shifts by Ilona Andrews
- Nothing Serious by Jessica Jarman
- The Martian by Andy Weir
Additionally, I read and/or listened to some wonderful series this year. These are my favorite series that I experienced in 2015 – to qualify I had to read/listen to over 50% or 7 books from the series during 2015, and the series must have at least three books published.
- Kowalski Family series by Shannon Stacey
- Dresden Files by Jim Butcher (not all reviews published yet)
- Bound series by Jessica Jarman and Bronwyn Green
Stop back later today for Vampbard’s post on her favorites of 2015! And tomorrow I share a year of audiobooks with my Listen Up! post.
I hope you all had a wonderful 2015, and each of us here at That’s What I’m Talking About look forward to sharing our love of reading with you during 2015! Happy New Year!
Looks like a great year. I’ve been listening to The Dresden Files too. It is so good.
I made it through seven of the DF titles and now I’m taking a bit of a break. The last one was pretty dark, too. I missed the humor. I look forward to starting back up in 2016.
I finally got book 6 from the library. I had been on the waiting list for like a month and a half. I think that it is next on my list unless a review book comes in.
That’s the porno one, right?! Laugh out loud funny!
Awesome year 😀
Thanks!! And WordPress informed me that you were my top commenter in 2015! Thank you!!
I’m so happy you got into audiobooks this year. I have The Dresden Files on my audio list. I own book 1 and my library has most of them. Once I do some catching up on my current series I’m going to give Harry a try.
Thank you for feeding my addiction! Be sure to check out my best in audiobook post tomorrow! And Harry is definitely worth listening!!
Oh I have that one from Crane on my list. It did look amazing. Happy reading in 2016!
Have you read the other books in the series?! So good! In fact, I need to stalk her site to find out when the next one comes out.
I’ve not! I have the whole series on my list. I enjoyed her other series though (way before the blog happened) and have been meaning to try her again for a while now.
YES!! Do it!!!
