Promise the Moon

What I’m Talking About:
**blinks** What did I just read?!? (totally in a good way).
You all know I’m a HUGE fan of the Black Dog series and it’s spin-offs. Promise the Moon is the first title in the Lorimar Pack books. The second title, Wolf at the Door is set to release January 25, 2017. **grabby hands**
There’s a lot of history in this book. I highly recommend reading all the Gemini titles before picking up Promise the Moon. Ms. Edwards does do a great job of filling in backstory, but seriously? Who would want a shot of their favorite milkshake when a 20-ounce cup is available?
There’s seriously a whole bunch of stuff going on here. Dell is left to run the pack while Cam and Graeson are off doing political stuff. Okay. I can live with that. The pack is living somewhere that’s a fixer-upper. Still good.
Wait. Ugh. Spoiler-free reviews. I can’t really tell you much more.
I still love Dell.
Isaac. **unf**
Enzo. There, there. **pats back**
I have some need-to-knows, though. 1. Zed & Moore. More, please. 2. The littles from the battle scene. 3. Cliffhanger, much? I’m seriously okay with this, though. I feel like the last bit of the story could’ve been the beginning of the next book and everyone would’ve been perfectly content. 4. How mad are Cam & Graeson going to be?!?! Will they say I told you to read that? 5. When Enzo and Isaac find out about the event at the very end, how does it affect their relationship?
Oh. Also? I may be shipping IsEnDell.
If you haven’t heard me rave about the Black Dog series titles—including the Gemini series, out of which the Lorimar Pack titles grew, listen up.
Go forth and one-click all of these titles.
I’m starting the countdown to 1/25/17 and Wolf at the Door. Seriously. I NEED TO KNOW!!!

About the Book:
War is a constant threat on Dell Preston’s horizon. As beta of the Lorimar pack, her job is to maintain the peace on the new border between Faerie and Earth at all costs. Even if that means playing nice with her ex, Isaac, the fae who savaged her wolf’s soul, and Enzo Garza, the flirty witch who ought to be focused on building up their magical defenses instead of tearing down the walls around Dell’s heart.
Butler, Tennessee is a pinprick on the map with a diverse population of supernaturals. It’s also chockful of humans who are unaware of the magical rift bruising the sky or the otherworldly insurgents raining down into their zipcode.
A local fae’s disappearance catches Dell’s attention, but she dismisses it as an isolated event. Until it happens again. Unable to ignore the strange happenings in her town, she begins an investigation that uncovers so much more than a simple rash of kidnappings.
Now Dell finds herself at the sharp end of a pointed ultimatum. Find the missing and return them to their families or get ready for prime time. Botch this job, and forget coming soon. The war will become tomorrow’s featured attraction instead.
