Dear That’s What I’m Talking About readers… Do I have a special treat for you! One of my favorite people, Lea Griffith, is here today to share a bit about her new title, Flash of Fury (Sourcebooks, March 7, 2017), and talk about her new series and writing romantic suspense. Oh… and she’s celebrating with an awesome giveaway! So please help me welcome Leah to the blog…

Thank you so much Jen for hosting me today. You know I think the world of you, your site and your reviews and I’m honored you’re letting me chat with your readers and give stuff away. I really love giving stuff away, lol!

I also really love romantic suspense. I cut my teeth on some of the greats—Iris Johansen, Linda Howard, Julie Garwood—and began sneaking into my moms stash of romance novels when I was about thirteen (don’t tell her, ‘k?). From that point on I began creating stories in my head. Those stories followed me until I finally broke down about six years ago and started writing them down. And let me tell you that’s a long span of time, lol!

From those stories in my head, all these years later, comes my brand new series, Endgame Ops. I’m a big fan of multi-layered series—the type of series that you uncover secrets one book at a time ultimately leading you to a conclusion that rocks your world and wraps everything up in nice, tight bow. Though each story has a satisfactory conclusion as far as the hero and heroine go, each story is also a piece of a much larger puzzle. A puzzle you think you have figured out until BAM, you’re turning another corner, riding the edge of another knife. These are the series I love and what I hope, I’m bringing you in Endgame Ops.

You are first introduced to Endgame Ops in an anthology I was blessed enough to participate in with Suzanne Brockman, Julie Ann Walker, Catherine Mann, Kate Serine, Tina Wainscott, M L Buchman, and Ann Elizabeth. All proceeds went to the Wounded Warrior Project. The first story, War Games, is a novella in this anthology. You meet Anthony “Rook” Granger and Vivi Benton and they take you on a wild ride that starts in a maximum security prison and ends with both of them locked in Endgame Ops and each other.

My current release, Flash of Fury, is my first full-length offering in the Endgame Ops series. FoF introduces you to Endgame Ops Team Leader, Kingston McNally, or as his team calls him, Your Highness. King’s looking for the people who betrayed his team on a mission in Lebanon. A mission that cost Endgame four team members. He thinks he’s found a link to the person responsible in Allie Redding, a Peace Corps volunteer heading home to Washington D.C. from Cameroon, Africa. But what he thinks he knows will be challenged every step of the way as they travel across the world, dodging the bad guys, and discovering that even secrets have secrets and nothing is as it seems.

King and Allie’s story is no-holds-barred action, suspense, and hot romance. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and the love they find with each other will be the thing that keeps them pushing on.

I am so excited for readers to sink their teeth into this series. To show my excitement I’m giving away the basket below—the first two books in the Endgame Ops series, The Way of the Warrior and Flash of Fury, along with a wine koozie, keychain, a full set of dog tags for each of my Endgame Ops members, and the piece de resistance a bobble head soldier figurine that kicks a whole lot of ass!

So if you love military romantic suspense, and you’re looking for a new series to dive into, enter to win or head out now and pick up Flash of Fury. Good luck!

About the Book:

Their spark is immediate

Kingston McNally lost men when someone betrayed his team, and now he’s out for retribution. His quest for the enemy’s courier leads him to Cameroon and Allie Redding, a petite Peace Corps volunteer as stubborn as she is brave. Their attraction is immediate, but Allie has secrets of her own…and she’s not giving them up easily.

But their secrets could burn them both

Allie’s life has been spent hiding in plain sight, but she’s had enough of her cloak-and-dagger existence. On her way home, her plane is hijacked-and King saves her life. But that doesn’t mean she owes him anything…even if he is the most damnably sexy man she’s ever laid eyes on. He’s got black ops and secrets written all over him, and trust is a two-way street.
