The New England Chapter of the Romance Writers of America is getting ready for their annual conference! If you live in New England or are in the area for the weekend, this is a great opportunity to indulge your bookish inclinations. We have an amazing slate of events for both writers and readers, and we can’t wait to share them with everyone.

Our reader events are taking place on the evening of Friday, April 7th, and will be a great way to unwind for the week. No registration is required and the events are free and open to the public. From 6-8pm, join us for a book signing with 70 of today’s most fabulous authors, including Molly O’Keefe, Joanna Bourne, Cecilia Tan, Zoe York/Ainsley Booth, Loretta Chase, Joanna Shupe, Shannon Stacey, Jamie Beck, and Alyssa Cole. There will be raffles for baskets provided by the authors and a cash bar.

From 8:30-11pm, a selection of authors including Damon Suede, Caroline Linden, and Jen Doyle will be reading from their books. If you hear something fabulous that you need to get your hands on ASAP, books by the readers will be available for purchase.

For writers, conference registration is still open, and we’ve got a jam-packed schedule to offer you including over 30 workshops to choose from, a master class on sexual tension from Molly O’Keefe, a keynote speech by Joanna Bourne, and a luncheon speech by Zoe York. We also still have agent and editor appointments available, not to mention the Saturday night sessions which are a great way to round out your conference with three choices: a PAN retreat, an Indie Un-Con, and a Camp NaNoWriMo Write-In. Pajamas welcome at those events!

You can find all the information about the conference at NECRWA’s conference website (http://necrwa.org/blog1/conference/), and if you have any questions, the conference committee is a friendly bunch–we’re happy to help you with anything you might need. Our emails are all on the conference homepage. We hope to see you in a couple of weeks in Burlington!
