I check in here every Friday, but my fitness week is Monday – Sunday. So my check-ins are always about a week behind.

Last Week (January 8 – January 14, 2018):

UGH. That’s how I’m feeling. While I didn’t meet my caloric intake goal – I did MUCH better than the past several weeks. Better by a lot! So color me extremely disappointed when the scale read 0.2 lbs MORE than last week’s weigh-in. And up 3 lbs from a month ago. I don’t want to have to take DRAMATIC MEASURES to lose weight because I won’t be able to keep up said dramatic measures and then all the weight will come back. *sigh*

I did pretty good with my exercising – closing the rings everyday and getting in movement. Only one yoga class, but my neighbor went with me and she wants to go more often!

My Movement*:
Monday: two walks for 65 minutes total, 12,522 steps/day
Tuesday: 42 minutes walking, 10,846 steps/day
Wednesday: 60 minutes yoga + 16 minutes walking, 10,038 steps/day
Thursday: 48 minutes walking + 10 minutes elliptical, 12,442 steps/day – 5k finished
Friday: 58 minutes walking, 11,403 steps/day – 5k finished
Saturday: 54 minutes walking, 12,859 steps/day – 5k finished
Sunday: 54 minutes walking, 11,978 steps/day – 5k finished

Goals for January:

Did I meet my goals last week?

  • Close all three “rings” in Apple Watch, 5 days per week – 7/5
  • Move with purpose (exercise) at least 30 minutes, 6 days per week – 7/6
  • Track my caloric intake using the LoseIt! app – 7/7
  • Consume no more than 700 extra calories per week – fail! 1,200 calories over
  • Get in 6 5ks and 6 yoga classes for month; at least one per week – 7 5ks and 1 yoga
  • Walk 10,000 steps per day – 7/7

So are you ready to lace up your sneakers? Are you ready to up your commit to fit? Be sure to stop over at Felicia the Geeky Blogger blog to check in with her.
