Happy New Year!

As we welcome a new year, I wanted to highlight a few exciting things coming up in 2019, here at That’s What I’m Talking About!

New Reviewer!

In 2018, we said good-bye to three long-time reviewers, and in 2019, I am excited to welcome Jennifer to the team.

Some of you may know her as The Book Nympho. She blogged for about 5 years on her own blog, but after experiencing writing burn out due to finishing up her BA in English, she took a year off from writing reviews.

Things about Jennifer that are not reading related, she’s learning to crochet. She’s been married 16 years, and she has a 12-year-old son. Once a dog person, she now find herself very much a cat person.

She loves rejecting reality one book at a time, and she’s happy to be back in the blog world through the team of That’s What I’m Talking About.

Jennifer reads all things romance and urban fantasy, and over the last two years, she’s branched out to some young adult. She reviews both audiobooks and traditional/ebooks; look for her reviews starting tomorrow!

Challenges:

This year both Jennifer and I’ll be participating in the Goodreads book challenge and the 2019 Audiobook Challenge. In addition, Jennifer is participating in the Library Love Challenge, as well as the Romanceopoly Reading Challenge, which will have update posts on the last Saturday of each month.

Reviews and More!

That’s What I’m Talking About will continue to bring readers our thoughts and reviews of the books we read. Most books fall into the romance and urban fantasy genres, but we are always open to other genres. You’ll be seeing more audiobook reviews, and we’ll do another June Is Audiobook Month celebration. In 2019, you’ll see reviews from Ang, B., Jennifer, Nima, and myself, and maybe a few guest reviews along the way.

So what are your goals for 2019? Anything new on the horizon?

On behalf of our entire team, I want to wish you a Happy New Year and a great year in books!

Jen
