Today we are celebrating the recent release of Party Favors by Erin McLellan. The author is here today to discuss her favorite end-of-the-year romances.
New Year’s Eve Romances to End Your Year
A huge thanks to Jen Twimom for having me here today to chat about New Year’s Eve holiday romance and celebrate the release of my own NYE novella, Party Favors.
Party Favors is a female/female New Year’s Eve erotic romance with two bisexual heroines. Amanda and Wren are online friends who have never met in person, but Wren convinces Amanda to spend New Year’s Eve with her at a resort. Once they both arrive, chemistry bubbles between them like champagne, and, uh-oh, there is only one bed in their private cottage. Party Favors is an opposites attract, only one bed, friends-to-lovers romance.
I love the end-of-year holidays. There’s something special about the time from Thanksgiving to New Year’s. It is a great time of year as a romance reader, as well. There are a ton of Christmas romances that come out in November and December, but this year, I’m excited to give New Year’s Eve romance some love too. Here are some of my favorite New Year’s romances!
Grand Theft N.Y.E. by Katrina Jackson
This playful, feisty heist story is a fun read to wrap up your year. With a hilarious scam artist heroine and a very sexy hero, this hot romp is impossible to put down.
Dance All Night by Alexis Daria
After a New Year’s Eve kiss, the Broadway star hero has to go on tour and misses his chance with the ballroom dancing heroine. That is, until the next holiday season rolls around.
Year of the Kiss by Giselle Fox
This yummy, and piping hot, f/f romance is full of plot twists and turns. It plays with the themes I love most in New Year’s Eve romance: fresh starts, midnight kisses, wishes, and taking risks.
Mr. Right Now by Annabeth Albert
A perfect, fake relationship, m/m romance between an newly discharged marine and a Hollywood actor spanning Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve, so the reader gets all the holiday goodness.
About the Book:
Three…
Amanda Ellis knows three things: she’s tired of doing what’s expected of her, she hates her job at her family’s business, and the last thing she wants to do is attend her parents’ boring New Year’s Eve ball with a date her mother picked. A few days of fun with her online best friend is exactly what she needs to ring in the New Year on her own terms.
Two…
Wren Rebello is impulsive and always ready for fun. A last-minute girls’ getaway sounds like the perfect way to spend New Year’s. But even Wren isn’t prepared for the spark of attraction she feels when she meets Amanda in person for the first time. Good thing Wren loves popping Amanda’s cork.
One…
After days spent sharing end-of-year resolutions and the one bed in their cottage, the clock strikes midnight and the ball drops on their time together. As Amanda and Wren go their separate ways, they leave new resolutions unfulfilled. Is there enough New Year’s magic left to turn their online friendship into real-life love?
