January 5th: What are your blogging goals for the new year?
Note: I’m going to edit this week’s post to also include my reading goals, since I didn’t really post those anywhere.
Blogging: My blogging goal for 2021 is to keep blogging. I want to continue pretty much as is. I’ll continue the Tell Me Something Tuesdays, FitReaders Check-in Fridays, and Sunday Snippets. My goal is to have a new post every Sunday through Friday. In addition, Jennifer is participating in the #TackleMyTBR2021 challenge and is going to track her progress the final Saturday of each month.
I’m debating whether or not I want to do a monthly reading/challenge post as well. I’ve never done them, but wonder if they might be fun. Maybe I’ll do mine of the first Saturday of each month, to wrap up the previous month.
Reading: Like many of you, I didn’t meet my reading goals for 2020. Impacts from COVID-19 and stay-at-home measures reduced my listening time and my overall desire to read. So for 2021, I’ve reduced my numbers, attempting to give myself freedom to read less if I want. My number goals are:
Audiobooks: 60 books
Total books: 100 books
In addition, I’ve asked my girlfriend to recommend books that are outside my comfort zone, preferably on audiobook. We are going to try to co-read a book every other month. I’ll keep you posted!
