February 23: What books are you looking forward to reading in Spring 2021 (March – May)?

There are SO MANY “must read” new releases coming out in the next three months… it’s crazy! Here are the tops on my list to read (links are Amazon affiliate purchase/pre-order links):

Book cover of Accidentally Engaged by Farah HeronAccidentally Engaged by Farah Heron (Forever Publishing; 3/2): I’ve not read this author before, but she’s received a lot of praise. I’m a sucker for fake-relationship stories, and this one sounds wonderful.

An Unexpected Peril by Deanna Raybourn (Penguin Random House Audio; 3/2): This is the sixth book in one of my absolute favorite historical mystery series. The romance between Veronica and Stoker has been ignited and I can’t wait to see what adventure they discover next.

Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert (Harper Audio; 3/9): Ms. Hibbert has already released two amazing books in the Brown Sisters series and I have high hopes for this third and final story.

Last Strand by Jennifer Estep (Self-published; 3/16): Assassin, Underworld Boss, and BBQ Restauranteur Gin is featured in her nineteenth story. The author has already said this will be the last Gin book for a while and I am dying to find out how it will be wrapped up!

Wild Sign by Patricia Briggs (Penguin Random House Audio; 3/16): We haven’t had a Charles and Anna book in three years, so it’s time for Ms. Briggs take us back to Bran’s pack for an update. I’m a little nervous to read the story after some of the revelations in the previous Alpha and Omega book, but I’m certain I’ll enjoy it.

Deceptive Dime Store Demons by Shawntelle Madison (Self-published; 3/28): After devouring the first book in Ms. Madison’s urban fantasy spin-off series, I’m looking forward to finding out what BIG BAD is out for the reluctant female alpha werewolf, Natalya Stravinsky.

Wonderstruck by Allie Therin (Tantor Audio; 4/13): This is the third and final book in Ms. Therin’s wonderful Magic in Manhattan series, which is a unique blend of paranormal magic and historical romance. It’s killing me that the print/ebook is out, but I’m waiting for the audiobook!

How to Find a Princess by Alyssa Cole (Avon; 5/25): I’ve really enjoyed Ms. Cole’s Royal-themed contemporary books and this one looks amazing. From the blurb, the main characters set out “on a transatlantic adventure with a crew of lovable weirdos, a fake marriage, and one-bed hijinks on the high seas.”

Undercover Duke by Sabrina Jeffries (Zebra Books; 5/25): This series is gold – a three-time widow who has three ducal sons! This wonderful historical romance series features standalone romances, but there is an over-arcing murder mystery, and with each book, the reader gets closer to finding out the truth!
