June 29th: Mid-Year Update: What have you been up to?
Hello friends! It’s the mid-year check-in time. Overall, things are good here at Casa de Twimom. We’ve made it to the other side of the pandemic. All four of us have been vaccinated and are starting to get together with friends, go out to dinner, go back to church, and HUG people! The kids finished out the school year, both making honor roll, and are enjoying summertime.
As far as reading/blogging, I’m participating in two challenges. The first is the Goodreads Challenge. After having a really slow year in 2020, but also finding I’ve been slowing down my reading volume for a couple years, I set my goal at 100 books. Right now I’m at 54 total books read in 2021. So I’m just a little ahead of my goal.
My second challenge is the Audiobook Challenge, which I’m co-hosting with Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. My personal goal is 60 audiobooks. Jennifer and I will have our mid-year updates for this challenge posted later today. I’m at 32 audiobooks, so I’m also right on track for this challenge.
Blogging has kept me busy. I’ve been able to keep up with my weekly posts of Tell Me Something Tuesday, FitReader Fridays, and Sunday Snippets. Between myself and my review team, we’ve been able to post every weekday, including reviews, author guest posts, and book spotlights.
