Hey friends!! It’s been one year since our small group of bloggers (Linda from Book Girl of Mur-y-Castell, Berls from Because Reading is Better than Real Life, Karen from For What It’s Worth, Roberta from Offbeat YA, and me) got together virtually to keep the Tell Me Something Tuesday meme going. It’s been a lot of fun for us, and we hope you are enjoying TMST and find the topics of interest. Do you have any questions you’d like featured on TMST?? If so, please send them my way and we’ll see what we can do!

Tell Me Something Tuesday is a weekly discussion post where bloggers discuss a wide range of topics from books and blogging to life in general. Weigh in and join the conversation by adding your thoughts in the comments. If you want to do your own post, grab the question and answer it on your blog. Feel free to leave your links in the comments if you are participating.

If you are interested in participating in TMST or receiving periodic emails that list the upcoming TMST topics and questions,  please fill out this GOOGLE FORM.  Participation is optional and never required.

October 5th: It’s been a while… tell us more about you!

Hello friends!! I can’t believe it’s been a year since we started hosting TMST! Let’s see…

The basics: I live in northern New England with my husband of 23 years, my son, who will be 18 this Sunday, and my daughter, who at 15.5 is learning driving. We also have two fur-babies: littermate cats Charlie and Coco, just over 4 years old. I work part time for a non-profit working on grants and other planning projects.

Back in January, I celebrated blogging for 11 years! I can’t believe it’s been that long. Then in February, I turned 50! That was fun, despite COVID conditions. We got in our annual trip to visit my family in northern Michigan back in August. The kids are back in school full time, regular schedule (Senior and sophomore in high school). I’m still working from home, but not because of COVID, it’s because our company doubled in size over the past two years, and we’ve run out of office space.

I still love to read, but I don’t read as much as I was 5+ years ago. I prefer audiobooks at this point, but still enjoy reading on my Kindle. My favorite genres lately include urban fantasy, small town/ contemporary romance, historical romance, rom coms, and cozy mysteries. I co-host TMST with Linda from Book Girl of Mur-y-Castell, Berls from Because Reading is Better than Real Life, Karen from For What It’s Worth, and Roberta from Offbeat YA. I also co-host FitReaders with Felicia the Geeky Blogger, and you can find my posts on Fridays, as well as our interactive support posts via our Facebook Group.

I miss going to cons, and I am planning to attend the Coastal Magic Convention in Daytona, FL, at the end of February 2022. You can learn more HERE.

Hmmm… What else would you like to know?

What about you? Tell Me Something and leave a comment!
