February 8th: What’s the chore you resent having to do the most?
Picking up after other people (in my own home). UGH. It drives me nuts. I don’t mind cleaning, but after I’ve cleaned, I wish that others would pick up their own messes. I hate coming home to the kitchen counter covered with dirty dishes. It drives me mad to find dirty clothes left on the floor, couch, stairwell. I hate all the mugs and glasses, some still filled with beverages, left on the table or in the family room. I loathe the pile of books, pens, and papers left scattered on my kitchen table. I despise the Xbox controllers and batteries left on the playroom floor and couch. I hate the piles of shoes tossed across the mudroom and in my way when I walk in the door. Just pick up your own damn mess!
