April 12th: What book has been sitting on your TBR pile the longest?
Honestly, I don’t know. I have piles of physical books that I picked up at conferences that I’ve never read. The first con I attended was Authors After Dark in August 2011. I know I have several physical books on my TBR from that conference. I may have others that I purchased from before that, but I don’t keep track any more.
Figuring out the oldest digital book on my TBR is a bit easier; thank you, Amazon. According to my digital content, my oldest books that I’ve not yet read were purchased on April 26, 2009, so I’ve owned them for 13 years. The honor goes to: Kiss Me Deadly (Bewitching the Dark, 1) by Michele Hauf, Assassin’s Apprentice (The Farseer Trilogy, Book 1) by Robin Hobb; His Majesty’s Dragon: Book One of the Temeraire by Naomi Novik; and Irresistible Forces by Brenda Jackson. Hmmm… not sure if I’ll ever get to those.
