August 23rd: Does length of series matter for you when you are picking out books to read?
YES! At this point, I have several on-going series and authors that I auto-read/buy. Those fill up most of my reading schedule. Then I pick up review books here and there. So when I see something I would like to try and there are already more than six books out, I will most likely not pick it up. I just don’t have the time to commit to something with several books, especially since I am not a very fast reader. I am, however, more likely to pick up a longer series IF it’s available in audiobook.
As a side note, I’m working really hard to only pick up books in existing series and/or auto-read authors for the rest of 2022 so that I can fit in a few of those multi-book series I have on my TBR *coughs* Heartstriker series *cough*
