The Tackle My TBR Reading Challenge is returning for 2022! I will continue to use the challenge to help me focus more older releases on my TBR. I didn’t quite make my goal of 60 books in 2021 so I’m setting my 2022 goal at Field Goal: read 37-48 TBR books.
You can find out more about #TackleMyTBR2022 over at Kimberly Faye Reads.

Mini Reviews:
Delicious by Shayla Black – DNF at 30%. Why? I couldn’t handle the hero’s thoughts about the heroine anymore. She owns her own strip club, they had a one night stand. The sex was amazing but he can’t want her, she’s a stripper. He needs a “good girl”. I was over it fast. Apparently she was good enough to sleep with but not to have a relationship. I’m sure they over come it to have a HEA but I wasn’t sticking around to see it. I tried to remember how I got this book, it’s the 3rd in a series I would never buy it without having reading 1-2. Then I remembered it came in a box subscription. I bought it, but didn’t pick it out.
The Donovan Brother’s Brewery series: Both Good Girls Don’t and Real Men Will has been on my audio TBR for a few years now and it was great to knock them off the list. I enjoyed the stories, characters and narration by Lauren Fortgang. I mistakenly started listening to book 3 on the way to work but decided to finish it. I own book 2 in paperback so I’ll dust it off and read it soon!
Persuasion by Jane Austen, I’m slowly making my way through Austen’s catalog and I’m rather enjoying her novels. Once I finished this one on audio I jumped over to Netflix to watch the new movie and I really enjoyed it as well.
Summoning the Night by Jenn Bennett – DNF on page 86. Why? I read the first book in 2015 and gave it 4 stars. I remember enjoying it but it took me so long to start book 2 that I had forgotten much of the story in book 1. I started and stopped it a few times and this time around I decided I wasn’t into it anymore so why force myself to finish it.
