August 8th: Which book world would you like to visit (real and/or fictional)?
Oh, this is a tough one. But I’m going to go with a series I’m currently reading – for both real and fictional locations. As you may know, I’m participating in the Read-Along of the Iron Druid Chronicles with Anne at Books of My Heart. At the start of the series, the main character, Atticus, lives in the Tempe area of Arizona. He describes a beautiful landscape and amazing food. I’d love to have dinner with the author, Kevin Hearne, as he shares stories of the area. Maybe visit a few parks, etc.
And as for the fictional place – I’d love for Atticus and Oberon to take me to Tír na nÓg, Magh Meall, and any of the Irish places. I’d need his protection, of course, but I’d love to see the lands as he describes them.
