September 5th: Overnights, long weekends, a week away: What’s your preference for a trip?
Oh… that’s a tough one. I guess it depends on the event and where I’m going. Long weekends are probably my favorite. I can get far enough away to forget about home/work, and it’s enough time to recharge, plus I don’t come back to a lot of missed work, etc. I love a longer vacation, especially if I have to take a plane to get there. When we go visit my folks in Florida, I like to be there a week. My husband and I are planning a European vacation next year, and I hope to be gone for a couple weeks. Those longer vacations are lovely, but it’s also tiring, especially coming home to missed work, chores, etc.
