October 31st: What is your favorite thing about Halloween?
That has changed over the years. When I was young, I loved to dress up and go trick-or-treating. There was a group of us in the ‘hood that would go with our dads, and then as I got older, I’d go with my friends. In college, it was fun to dress up for parties. When I was an adult with young kids, I LOVED helping them imagine and create the perfect costume, watching them go door-to-door. Now that I’m older, I like to decorate my home and hand out candy to the kids who come by. My daughter is a senior in high school, and this is her last year for trick-or-treating, so I’ll be excited to see what she comes up with for a costume tonight!
