December 12th: What were your favorite games/toys when you were a kid?
Some of my best memories were playing on my bike, riding around the neighborhood, exploring the woods behind our home with the other kids. We’d play games like “tag” and “hide and seek” until after dark.
As for physical toys, I know I loved Barbies for a while, and I liked playing with stuffed animals. We loved playing school in our basement – we had a giant chalkboard and two old desks. My dad would make “dittos” for us a his work. Of course I also loved reading. I recall also enjoying board games like Sorry, Clue, and Life. I still have my original Clue and Sorry games.
