Welcome to #FitReaders2025!! Felicia and I are excited to co-host this fitness-oriented group. If you have any questions about #FitReaders, you can leave them in the comment section or email me at twimom227(at)gmail(dot)com.
Most of our support is done via our Facebook Group. I post my weekly check-ins on Fridays, as it helps me be accountable. You are welcome to do your own check-in posts, check in below, in the comments, or check in with the Facebook group – whatever works for you!
I check in here every Friday, but my fitness week is Monday – Sunday. So my check-ins are always about a week behind.
Last Week (November 17 – November 23, 2025):
I continue to enjoy my new Tai Chi class as I learn new pieces to the form. I was in the office on Wednesday and had my first big project meeting for the planning year. It went well. The rest of the work week was pretty quiet. Saturday was the annual church fair and I worked at the event from 10:00-2:00. I also had a meeting at 2pm with our district superintendent. Sunday I hit three local craft fairs with my friends. I was able to pick up a couple Christmas gifts and some new earrings for me. We also had our usual neighbor watching the Patriots afternoon.
Weight: I was down 0.9 pounds for the week. For the first time since mid-May, I’m less than my weight on January 1st.
Goals: I got pretty lazy last week after doing so well with my exercise the week prior. My eating was decent, enough to lose some weight. With next week (now this week) being Thanksgiving, I need to get motivated to exercise and not just eat.
Goals for next week: My goal will be to track food 7 days, exercise/move 5 days and close rings 5 days, limit alcohol to 2 days.
Don’t forget to join the Facebook Group and check in with us there!
Goals for last week:
-
- Walk/Move 5 days – I moved 3 days and closed my rings 3 days.
- Track food 7 days – 7 days.
- Limit alcohol 2 days – 2 days.
During 2025 I plan:
- To maintain or be less than my January 1st, 2024 weight. I will do with through exercise and making adjustments to my caloric intake. I don’t have to be perfect, but I do need to make a true effort.
- To move. I will do this primarily via walking, four to seven days per week. I also need to stretch most/all of the days I exercise.
- To remain an active member of FitReaders and support my fellow members. I will do this by actively participating in the FitReader Facebook Group and continuing to share my journey with my weekly check-in on the blog.
