Welcome to #FitReaders2025!! Felicia and I are excited to co-host this fitness-oriented group. If you have any questions about #FitReaders, you can leave them in the comment section or email me at twimom227(at)gmail(dot)com.

Most of our support is done via our Facebook Group. I post my weekly check-ins on Fridays, as it helps me be accountable. You are welcome to do your own check-in posts, check in below, in the comments, or check in with the Facebook group – whatever works for you!

I check in here every Friday, but my fitness week is Monday – Sunday. So my check-ins are always about a week behind.

Last Week (November 24 – November 30, 2025):

Last week was Thanksgiving. I did Tai Chi on Monday, and that was my only exercise for the week. I was on vacation from Wednesday through Sunday. Both of my kids came home Tuesday. My daughter and I binged the first part of Stranger Things Season 5 on Wednesday. We had an amazing Thanksgiving meal with my in-laws and our extended family on Thursday. We vegged the whole weekend.

Weight: I was up 1.o pounds for the week. I was down 0.5 pounds for the month.

Goals: I did NOTHING after Monday of last week.

Goals for next week: My goal will be to track food 7 days, exercise/move 5 days and close rings 5 days, limit alcohol to 2 days.

Don’t forget to join the Facebook Group and check in with us there!

Goals for last week:

    • Walk/Move 5 days – I moved 1 days and closed my rings 1 days.
    • Track food 7 days – 2 days.
    • Limit alcohol 2 days – 2 days.

During 2025 I plan:

  • To maintain or be less than my January 1st, 2024 weight. I will do with through exercise and making adjustments to my caloric intake. I don’t have to be perfect, but I do need to make a true effort.
  • To move. I will do this primarily via walking, four to seven days per week. I also need to stretch most/all of the days I exercise.
  • To remain an active member of FitReaders and support my fellow members. I will do this by actively participating in the FitReader Facebook Group and continuing to share my journey with my weekly check-in on the blog.
So are you ready to lace up your sneakers? Are you ready to up your commit to fit?
